The Alexander Cree Foundation was founded in 2013 to collect and donate items for families in need, mainly mothers and their little ones. This event began June 2013 and is held annually. It is known as the Half Birthday Charity Event, and is hosted around Alexanders "half birthday". As a family we move quite often, so it is a great way for us to use this event to give donations to local places in need, wherever we are living at that particular time. Our mission is to provide mothers and children in shelters, hospitals, or just in difficult times, items they need and desire, to put a smile on their face.
January 15, 2015 Alexander Cree was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome. A year later, January 15, 2016, Beautiful Rising Sun was created. This was added to the foundation to raise awareness and support the advancement of Angelman Syndrome research, with the ultimate mission of effective treatments and a cure.
It is our dream to have our son explore this wonderful world fully and independently, you can help us make that dream come true!
